buying this month's company magazine, i was shocked to see the cover. Not because Zooey Deschanel was on the cover, but the cover photo's it's self. Seeing it reminded me straight away of a Nylon magazine cover from years ago, also featuring Miss Zooey. i reconigsed straigh away the posing and styling but thought it was just a coincedence. wasn't still i got home and checked the old copy of Nylon that i still had i discovered this....
its the exact same photo! i can say i am slightly disapointed, come company mag! your my favourite magazine, you can do better!
Good spot!x

That's funny but nothing new.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I'm aware, magazines rarely shoot the celebrities they interview. In fact, was it this interview when they mention that they are only interviewing during a stop off on a flight back to America? In which case, there is probably no time- or location- for a photoshoot.
Company does this quite a lot. There was another issue when they had Emma Watson on the cover and every single photo was a photo from an earlier Vogue shoot. I got the impression that the interview was even done over the phone rather than in person as there was no reference to her appearance or facial expressions in the write up.
It was pretty short sighted of them to use exactly the same photo for the cover though. Surely they should be aware of other magazines' content to prevent mistakes like this.

Wow, that's a pretty sloppy mistake. Really bizarre!

I am considering entering it for something and would love you forever if I could hear what you think (not to sound too creepy...) Thanks xxx
