There was a snippet of info on this offer in last month's issue, and I have been eagerly looking at the River Island website and app almost daily (I'm that sad!) picking out bits that I would buy with my discount card. 

Now I have it though I can't decide! Do I get my favourite pieces now or wait a few weeks for more of the collection to come in? hmmm ...

These are my picks at the moment. Really really want the faux fur coat (this will replace my well loved 12 year leopard print faux fur coat that's full of ciggerette burns, falling apart at the seems and stinks of stale beer). Also really want the dogtooth shorts, they are smart enough to wear to work, and really really want the red leopard print jumper - I don't own a red leopard jumper and now I have seen this, I feel like i need one to match my red leopard print jeans, silk trousers, scarf and socks.

Can you help me decide what I need?

Well when I first saw the Topshop Grey T-shirt i knew I needed it in my life, but now seeing the 'Coke' brand pop up all over the high street I'm just spoilt for choice! Which one would you go for?

RIhanna for River Island AW13: Pre-order now!

It's that time of year again, when we can get excited for the new 'Rihanna for River Island' collection. And, I have to say, this new AW13 collection is probably my favourite so far. Featuring bold prints, knee length boots, slogan hats, and underwear.

So, it's official According to the fashion a retail worlds, Summer is officially over and it's time for the AW13 trends. Of course though, because of the recent heatwave we have been experiencing shops are desperate trying to keep their news AW13 trends as light as possible, holding on to short sleeves, light colours and fabrics. Even desperately designing new pieces and putting them straight to production; to take advantage of the crazy long lasting Summer. Irony is though its AUGUST!! It's suppose to be warm! Retail moves so quickly that the pushing the new seasons on us faster than the changing weather.

So now, all the new trends oooze mixed pieces that you can wear now and sooo incredibly easily wear though winter too. Continuing with the 90's rival, AW13 is seeing the return of grunge, Tartan and Checks. Yay!! My second favourite print! Cleverly alot of store are introducing them in light bright colours to suit the current climate, but chuck on a pair of Doc Martens and opaque tights, you've got your AW sussed.

Topshop has the best choices of tartan/check right now, but other stores are slowly introducing them too. Wait until we are fully in season, and you'll be sick of the print I'm sure.

HAUL - what do you want see styled?

 So this is the all post I promised you all the other day. It has taken me so long to do because I wanted to VLOG it but my camera (ok, I admit it my hair too) just weren't playing game. I managed to snap these photo's quick yesterday afternoon, while the sun put it hat on for a few hours. I'll try to do the video again today, because I really want to join the VLOG world. Anyways.... these are all pieces I have brought over the last 2 months in Topshop, River Island, TKMaxx, charity shops and Peacocks.

denim love

I have been obsessed with denim since I was 6 years old and my best friend and I had matching Red denim jackets. 12 years later, (and I still have the red denim jacket) my obsession with the hard wearing blue material became apparent when shopping with friends "Your obsessed with denim!! Oh my god, stop buying it!" exclaimed my best girl Meg, after I brought a denim jumpsuit, skirt, shirt and jacket in the space of 5 days (we were on holiday, I don't actually shop everyday - well I do, but....). It has also come apparent to myself when I've spent the last 2 months looking for a new pair of jeans - who spends that long looking for jeans! Anyways, I finally found them in Topshop - I tried 8 pairs of blue jeans on, but couldn't decide on any of them. so I walked out the changing room,  walked straight into a pair of kahki coloured jeans and brought them straight away on impulse without trying them on - they are now my favourite pairs of jeans

I don't think I have been this excited about a collection launching....ever!Rihanna has fast become the girl to look at for style inspiration (well, she has for me) and when the news broke that she's be designing her own collection I couldn't have been more excited! And finally the date is in site!

As with a lot of things 'Rihanna' she can't seem to keep the lid on things she's involved with and does. Using her own Instagram account to promote the collection, she has been posting photo's of whats to come. The first inkling came with this photo of her posing with the models and shoot for the collection.

So how about it? The photo's dont give much away but I am in love with the tartan bomber jacket she's wearing and I can only hope it's part of the range.

Weeks later, Rihanna was spotted out and about, wearing a navy hooded 'super lux' jumpsuit - This is part of the collection.

Excited yet! :D
And lastly just a few days ago, Rihanna (again on Instagram) posted a series of photo from her shoot with Complex magazine, one of which featured her wearing Parka - also from the collection.

Alas, need  saw anymore? Im super super excited. I'm definitely going to sat on my laptop from 8 am to get a look in and buy at least something of the collection!

THIRTEEN

Lucky for some, unlucky for others. Is the year 2013 really going to be your greatest year yet? I'm reading a lot people shouting off roof tops that it will be, and why wouldn't you want the new year to be better than the last?

I always like to spend the end/ beginning of the new year, recoup-orating  take  couple of days off work, have a huge de-clutter of my bedroom and my mind. Recharge my batteries and start the working year afresh. And this is exactly what I have done. after a hectic Christmas working and visiting family new Year was spent lounging in front of the telly, with the boy doing all of the above.

2012, was good to me, I got a brand new job, in a brand new career that I've always wanted to be in. Made new friends, rekindled with old one, and had an amazing holiday with some of my best friends. Which brung us all so much closer. My boyfriend and me are still going strong after 8 and half years and I can't wait to spend another year with him.

My hopes and changes for 2013? I always make the same three resolutions each year, write more, draw more and read more. You can never do enough, and each time will make you bigger and better at the skill. I want to be blogging a lot more, at least 3 times a week. Ideally I'd love to do it daily, but I just don't think I'll have the time!! Though i will try! I have a new camera and tripod, the world is my blogging oyster!

Like 99.9% of bloggers I have waaay to many clothes that just don't get worn, I need to stop spending so much of my wages on new clobber for my wardrobe. So my new motto will be 'Don't buy it, unless it looks f**king amazing' and always think of co-ordinates. So many of my clothes don't get worn cause I have nothing to wear with them, this will be a definite change! Im so bored of this issue swamping my wardrobe!

Apart from the these and the obvious other goals 'lose weight, get fit, new job' etc I'm looking forward to what 2013 will bring!

So my evening began last night with an atempt to do a 'h&M haul' post, Each month there is a different shop that takes all of my wages. This month was H&M. So i gathered all my new purchases nicely on the floor. Getting arty and creative with my display, but my kitten Dorothy, just saw it all as new playground. She trashed my hard work and continued to play catch with my new necklace and ring! She was sooo cute I had to take some photo's (WARNING **** multiple cat photos below)

My first VLOG! Autumn hual :)

So I did it :) made my first VLOG. its been something I've been thinking of doing for a while and this just seemed like the perfect oppitunity.

Being my first vlog, I am new to the video scene so please bare with. Im am also nakered and bloody freezing as the heating has broken in my house :(

There's a river in my island

Well this morning was fun getting ready. I got dressed fine no issues, took a couple of pictures for my blog and was ready to go about my day. I began making my lunch, when I got into a heated fight with the feta cheese and chucked the 'brine' liquid that preserves the cheese all done myself. With minutes to go before i had to leave for work i wasn't best pleased and had to quickly change and chuck my clothes in the wash. (I was looking forward to wearing my Sid and Nancy t-shirt today)

this isn't abnormal infact daily i am causing issues with my clumsy butterfingered hands and forcing myself to get changed again. I've decided because it is a daily occurance and this blog is all about my life and fashion i should combine the 2. So from now on I will be documenting all my clumsiness for your amusement! hahah!!

Well what a wishlist list! There are a few things I am need of, I need a new handbag (only have 2 one huge, one tiny - i need an inbetween one!) also i really want some slouchy tops/ jumpers that are easy to wear and will go with anything, for those days when I can't be bothered.

Searching ASOS i came accross these other goodies, the River Island gold glitter jacket is just out of this world, I can see myself wearing this to death. everyone needs a boy london top in their wardrobe and I really like this all in one american appeal jumpsuit, I would buy a bigger size and wear it baggy, roll up the trousers. These tights are just to die for!! though I go through tights like there is no tomorrow, so i don't think £42 would be worth my money but i want them so bad!!

i've been searching for a pair of the wedge trainers everywhere, yes they are everywhere but i haven't found  a pair i like. Until that was I found these today on boohoo.com! and just £30!!! but they only have size 3 left in stock!! who's a size 3?!! I'll be checking back  to see if they have stocked up. And lastly i just love these flatform shoes from asos, think they would go with everything.

HOW TO WEAR - Pink leopard print dress - 15 DIFFERENT OUTFITS!

STYLING REQUEST: a couple of days ago i was asked how I would style a leopard print from River Island that i had brought and posted about HERE. So here it is! I may have gone a bit overboard with the amount of outfits but I wanted to get my point across. However in these photo's please note:

1. Do not take any notice of my hair, it badly needs a wash/ styling but i just couldn't bothered. These styling post is simply about the clothes, and not hair and make up to match.
